Sophomore Day 2008

Right now the Sophomore Small Board is working on plans for our very own S-Day. S-Day is when the whole school gets together to honor the sophomores for all the hard work they contribute to St. Scholastica. This year’s S-Day is on March 7. In the morning there will be an all school assembly and the class will receive flowers and thanks from the school, presented by Student Council. Throughout the week leading up to S-Day, the other Student Council small boards will sell S-Day Grams, which are candy tokens expressing their appreciation of the class of 2010. The sophomores receive their grams during the party at the end of S-Day. During the party the sophomores go down to the Lecture Hall and watch a slideshow of pictures made by their small board. The slideshow has pictures of the class of 2010 from years past and present. After the slideshow, the class will receive gifts and enjoy skits written and performed by the rest of Student Council. They eat pizza and enjoy that they are sophomores at St.Scholastica. It is a day that all sophomores and look forward too.
